On the topic of the Resistance minor characters, despite initially hoping this show would have a very broad amount of locations and a cast that was never all in one place; I have to admit that with what they are going for I love that they are really doing their job with making colossus come alive. Lothal had some recurring characters to be sure, but even by the end it never felt as much like a community as this already does

Also great point about this show giving aliens much more voice range. Lucas driven stuff often ran with stereotyping aliens (often to actual races much to our discomfort) but this show is doing a great job of removing that otherness, that frankly even the new films and Rebels more or less had present.

I am gonna predict that the former Imps is gonna be a good guy, and Yeager is going to turn out to be working with the FO

As a massive comic nut I can't help be chuckle when people say stuff like "Clone Wars writer Paul Dini". Also gotta love how lucas told Dini that mature stuff in saturday morning cartoons was not important; only for just a few years later Dini to make Batman TAS in which there are active gun fights with live rounds, lots of innuendo, mature psychology, and.....oh yeah an abusive relationship examined in depth with no hope by the end just the cold reality of life. I am not the biggest Dini guy compared to other Batman fans, but man do I love how blatantly mature his content was....his old content not his new stuff which is 80% just someone's raunchy fanfic.

With Lord and Miller, I am quite disappointed with the radio silence from Lucasfilm. Whatever went down, they really really should be giving those guys their due and including them in the BTS stuff. This is part of why a lot of people have misgivings about all the people jumping ship, and leaving projects. When you can people halfway through filming that is a bit distressing, but then practically ignoring their existence comes off even worse. Kasdan seems to be the only one directly talking about them. I more or less get why they had to go, and some of these other director shifts I am 100% behind like Trevarro, but it still does not do much for fans' faith when Lucasfilm of all companies seems to be restrictive on young up and coming directors, and booting them and ignoring them. Do I think Kennedy went to far or was overly harsh? No. However with the fact that Lucasfilm exists for the purpose of giving young up and comers their shot, if you are gonna fire people partway through the movie, do everything you can to support them and give them the credit they deserve. I don't at all support the "Lucasfilm was better under Lucas" bull, but I don't like the fact that there are some moments when even I feel like some of that core is forgotten or missing. If nothing else include them in the DVD extras, it is not asking much
