There's no denying Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi is the most talked about film of the last year (or perhaps decade). During its theatrical run it raked in $1.3 billion in ticket sales worldwide, so now that its out on home video it should be no surprise that its continuing to be successful.
Variety reports that the most recent home video sales chart were released, revealing that The Last Jedi has topped the national charts for Blu-ray and DVD sales. The eighth installment of the Skywalker saga surpassed such heavyweights as Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Coco, and Thor: Ragnarok. Blu-rays specifically accounted for 80% of The Last Jedi's overall home media disc sales.
In addition, The Last Jedi came in 4th on the rental charts, trailing Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Justice League, and Ferdinand, respectively.
