A new look at art from the upcoming animated series Star Wars Resistance was revealed at the 2018 Disney France Partners Event (Rendez-Vous Des Partenaires 2018). During the presentation, a slide featuring two drawings of several of the main characters (one drawing showing the dark side and the other light side) were shown. The picture was tweeted by Disney Fance's Guillaume Malgouryres (@GuillameFr), which you can see below,

This isn't the best look at the characters, hopefully we'll see more soon, but there is one intriguing takeaway. This being the appearance of a red stormtrooper from the First Order. Some are already speculating that this could be the character Cardinal who first appeared in the novel Star Wars: Phasma by Delilah S. Dawson.
Little is known about the series at this point. The official announcement revealed that it was set prior to the events of The Force Awakens, and will follow a pilot named Kazuda Xiono who spies on the First Order for General Leia's Resistance. The series will featured characters from the sequel films, including Poe Dameron and Captain Phasma (voiced by Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie) as well as BB-8. We also later learned from, one of the stars of the series Jim Rash (Community) that he plays a character who, along with another character voiced by Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live) runs the equipment check out area for the Resistance.
With the series set to debut this fall, many are hoping that more will be revealed about the series at San Diego Comic Con later this month, where series executive producer Dave Filoni is already slated to appear on a 10 year retrospective panel for Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
In additions to Isaac, Christie, Rash, and Moynihan, the series stars Christopher Sean (Days of Our Lives), Suzie McGrath (East Enders), Scott Lawrence (Legion), Myrna Velasco (Elena of Avalor), Josh Brener (Silicon Valley), Donald Faison (Scrubs), and Rachel Butera (Tammy’s Tiny Tea Time). The series is produced by Filoni, Athena Portillo, Justin Ridge, and Brandon Auman. The series will be shown on Disney Channel and Disney XD.
