These black and white behind the scenes photos taken by Johnson were how we got some of our first looks at The Last Jedi. Johnson first shared some pictures he took on set back at Star Wars Celebration Europe in London in July 2016. Of course, back then they were more focused on extras and pieces of the set whereas now they are focused more the film's main stars like John Boyega, Kelly Marie Tran, and Mark Hamill.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15th. The
film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and stars Daisy Ridley as
Rey, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, John Boyega as Finn, Adam Driver as
Kylo Ren, Carrie Fisher as Leia Organa, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Kelly Marie Tran as Rose Tico,
Laura Dern as Amilyn Holdo, Benicio Del Toro as DJ, and Lupita Nyong'o
as Maz Kanata.
