Rian Johnson Says 'The Last Jedi' Is Singular

Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi director, and front runner for nicest person at Star Wars Celebration Orlando this weekend, Rian Johnson appears to have settled the long standing debate about whether The Last Jedi is plural or singular.  The director appeared on Good Morning America and revealed that, in his mind, The Last Jedi is singular.  Check it out for yourself below,

Johnson's clarification runs contrary to the reveal of the international translations of the titles which indicated that that the title was plural.  However, based on Luke statement's in today's newly revealed first The Last Jedi trailer that "Maybe it's time for the Jedi to end" it seems pretty definitive that Luke views himself as the last Jedi (at least for now).
