The fourth issue of the Darth Vader comic series was released two years ago.

The story centres on the character Darth Vader between the events of Star Wars: A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back.

The comic was written by Kieron Gillen, with art by Salvador Larroca, with the first issue published on February 11 2015. 

The issues were part of a Marvel book series entitled Book 1: Vader, with four more books subsequently released which also focus on Darth Vader in this time period.

Marvel Comics is one of the largest companies in the world of comic books and were the first company to first release comic books for the Star Wars saga, with their Star Wars series.

Other series, which are ongoing, include Star Wars (2015 - present) , Star Wars: Poe Dameron (April 2016 - present) and Star Wars: Doctor Aphra (December 2016 - present).

The next edition to be released is Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith in June 2017.
