By Ciaran Duggan,

The last episode of season three of Star Wars: The Clone Wars aired on Cartoon Network.

In one of the darker arcs of the series, Ahsoka was abducted by Trandoshans in the midst of a battle between Republic and Separatist forces and taken to a remote world where the reptile-like humanoids hunted Jedi younglings for sport.

The two-part finale also featured the appearance of one of the most popular legacy characters: Chewbacca.

The preview clip for this arc is most remembered for the introduction of Chewbacca and the words uttered by Ahsoka: "It's a Wookie!"

These episodes rounded off what some people called the best second half to a Clone Wars season, with previous arcs including the Nightsisters/Savage Oppress storyline, Mortis and the Citadel trilogy.
