Work has begun in Fuerteventura, Spain to prepare the area for the filming of scenes from the upcoming young Han Solo film from directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller. The news and first pictures of the preparation came from the local newspaper La Provincia, who claim that the scenes that will be shot in the area will be set on the planet Corellia. You can see the pictures from the area below,
Filming for the young Han Solo film has been underway for several weeks now at Pinewood Studios in London. Spain has long been rumored to be a location that will be used in the film and this is likely as close to a confirmation as we'll get until the film is finished. As for whether or not it's Corellia, while certainly not outside the realm of possibilities, it does seem more like speculation than actual fact at this point.
The untitled young Han Solo hits theaters on May 25th, 2018 and stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Thandie Newton, and Michael K. Williams. The film is directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, with a script by Lawrence and Jon Kasdan.
