In addition to all the awesome merchandise news for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, we also just got treated to some new images from the film. Our friends at Making Star Wars got their hands on some new stills that give us a few new looks at the film.
First off, we have a shot of Jyn Erso(Felicity Jones) wearing binders. The looks very similar to how she appeared in the trailers at the Rebel base on Yavin IV. We can assume this photo is from a corresponding scene:
Next we get another look at Director Orson Krennic(Ben Mendelsohn) and two of his Death Troopers guardians. They are obviously aboard the Death Star, being that this scene looks like it's taken directly out A New Hope:
And finally, a new still of the Death Troopers. The scenery behind them very much matches terrain that we've seen in previous trailers and such and will most likely show up in a flashback sequence that involves young Jyn Erso, her father Galen and Krennic(as mentioned on the latest SWU Podcast):
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters on December 16th!
