It seems that May the 4th, also know as "Star Wars Day", is becoming more of a phenomenon every year, What started as a mere play-on-words has morphed into a yearly celebration of the greatest saga of all time. In conjunction, Lucasfilm and many other companies seem to have adopted the date as an unofficial holiday. In doing so, a plethora of retailers have unveiled their plans to release exclusive and limited edition items along with special discounts and deals on May the 4th. Everyone from Walmart, Gamestop, Toys"R"Us and Bed, Bath and Beyond to Her Universe and Petco are participating.
