Star Wars Episode VIII is slated to return to Ireland for more filming later this month (with two big stars showing up early next month) and preparations are well under way. The Irish Examiner released several pictures of the sets in Ceann Sibéal under construction. The sets look to be recreations of Skellig Michael, where the final scene in The Force Awakens was shot. It is believed that filming for scenes on that planet have been moved because of restrictions in place at Skellig Michael. The pictures look very cool, check them out below,
In addition to the scenes on the planet from the end of The Force Awakens, it has been reported that scenes in Ceann Sibéal will also involve a village. It has also been reported that filming will take place at the English Market in Cork, Ireland.
Star Wars Episode VIII hits theaters on December 15th, 2017 and is directed by Rian Johnson.
