Lucasfilm has released a new preview for Wednesday's Star Wars Rebels episode "The Mystery of Chopper Base". The episode is the penultimate episode of Season Two and picks up where last week's "The Forgotten Droid" left off. The clip features Zeb and Ezra sitting together on the planet that the Rebellion is considering for a secret base and watching the sunset. Check out the preview below,
The clip has a real calm before the storm vibe to it. Like when Dak tells Luke he "feels like could take on the whole empire" himself. We know that Ezra, Kanan, and Ahsoka preparing to leave to face "the red blades" will be a significant aspect of the story, setting up next week's finale. It's easy to imagine how things could go wrong when our heroes try to take down Darth Vader. No to mention other previews hint at Ezra teaming up with someone you may not expect. I don't know what to expect from this week's episode, but it feels like we might be getting out last look the team as its currently made up. Next week's finale will shake things up, so we may want to enjoy the team as is this week.
Star Wars Rebels: "The Mystery of Chopper Base" airs Wednesday night at 9pm on Disney XD.
