Report: Daniel Craig's Cameo in 'The Force Awakens' Revealed

Warning: This post contains minor spoilers from Star Wars: The Force Awakens!  If you haven't seen the film yet, stop reading now.

Despite denying it (and in spectacular fashion), it turns out that James Bond actor Daniel Craig did have small cameo in The Force Awakens.  Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Craig did don the First Order stormtrooper armor for a scene with Daisy Ridley's Rey.  According to EW, Craig plays the stormtrooper who Rey mind tricks into releasing her when she's been captured by Kylo Ren.  

If that trooper's name/number is FN-007, then that's a massive missed opportunity.

    That would be perfect. I loved that little scene, and the idea it was him under the helmet makes me so happy!
