With just one month until Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, one of the film's new stars John Boyega (Finn) is giving fans a behind the scenes peak at what it was like when he first wielded a lightsaber on the set.  Boyega spoke with Empire recently, telling them,

"Man, the lightsaber came in this case. The guys brought it out and I’m like, 'Now’s the moment, now’s the time.'"

"I held it in my hand and I just felt, you know, the clouds open up and the white doves come flying down. It feels very, very good. I hugged it for the whole day. I didn’t allow anyone to hold it but me."

Last week, Boyega spoke about training to use a lightsaber with EW.  Check that out here.
