By: Dominic Jones

The director of Star Wars Episode VIII Rian Johnson gave a small treat on Twitter today by tweeting out a picture of the script of Star Wars: Episode VIII.  Check it out below,

Obviously this image doesn't give us any new information about the film, but it's still fun to get an early sneak peak behind the scenes at the upcoming Star Wars films.  Some filming for Episode VIII took place last month in Ireland.  The rest of the principle photography is expected to take place in January

Star Wars: Episode VIII is written and directed by Rian Johnson and will be released May 26th, 2017.

    1. What are you talking about?
Colin Trevorrow directed Jurassic World, Rian Johnson had nothing to do with the movie.

But he did work on some of the very best Breaking Bad episodes, and the excellent Looper.

  5. That was supposed to be slightly tongue in cheek. However I do worry that with Rian, Gareth, Colin & Josh while they had brilliant low budget débuts all were followed by fairly uninspiring blockbusters. Only Looper really stands out and yet I'd hardly say it was excellent.
