A little over three weeks ago at San Diego Comic Con Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy told the world that the first Star Wars: Anthology film, Rogue One, would begin filming in about three weeks. Today we have our first bit of evidence that filming is indeed underway. Mirror Online posted five leaked behind the scenes pictures from the set of Rogue One today. While these images don't reveal much, if you are trying to avoid all Rogue One spoilers then stop reading now. This is your SPOILER ALERT!

The images feature extras, dressed as Stormtroopers, standing around with what appears to be an imperial shuttle. There is also a shot of what looks to be a back lot at Elstreet Studios with a beach look to it. Check out the images below,
Sadly no sign of the main cast of the film in any of these shots, but it is still very intriguing to see what's going on on set. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but, is this first time we've seen Palm Trees in Star Wars? Seeing as we already have three desert planets (Tatooine, Jakku, and Geonosis), they had to do something to differentiate this one if indeed we are looking at a fourth desert planet!
As always this is just a rumor until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm or Disney.
