Whitta Returns to Star Wars to Write Rebels Episode

 Gary Whitta, who wrote the original script for the Star Wars standalone film Rogue One, announced Tuesday via Twitter that he is currently writing an episode of Star Wars Rebels.
Although Whitta is no longer working on Rogue One, his work on Rebels could possibly tie into his ideas for the Star Wars standalone film, which will be released in December of next year.
