James Bond is coming to the galaxy far, far away!  It has been confirmed that Daniel Craig will indeed be playing a stormptrooper in Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens.  The news was let slip by Simon Pegg, who also reportedly has a small role in The Force Awakens, who told The Sun newspaper at the premiere of Man Up, "I wasn't a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig, he was a Stormtrooper."  Pegg quickly added, "I shouldn't have said that."

The rumor that Craig was in the film was first reported back in September 2014.  Personally, I would love for there to be some sort of inside joke surrounding Craig's role, something like he's the only stormtrooper who ever hits anything.  Craig is currently filming the next installment in the Bond series Spectre, which was shot at Pinewood Studios in London, immediately following The Force Awakens (which is probably how Craig wound up in the film).
