December 18th, 2015 couldn't seem any further away as excitement grows for the release of the next chapter in the Star Wars saga, but in reality, time is flying right by! While attending the grand opening for the brand new Industrial Light and Magic studio in the UK, Lucasfilm president, Kathleen Kennedy, said that filming for Episode VII is scheduled to wrap up only three weeks from now, completing yet another large portion of the movie's production. The new studio has already taken on Episode VII and is producing the movie's special effects and CGI elements, as well as a few upcoming Marvel Studios films such as Avengers: Age of Ultron and Antman, both of which are slated to come out the middle of next year (2015).

So who's excited? Time is ticking, and more is coming to fruition by the week! Before we know it, we'll be looking at our first Episode VII teaser! (But in the meantime let's continue having fun speculating!)
