Rumor: Indie Revolver Reveals First Image of Episode VII Villain

By Chris Seekell

Indie Revolver is at it again! Following leaked photos of Episode VII stormtroopers and Han Solo concept art, the website is claiming to possess a leaked image of the main villain from Episode VII, as well as some information about his character.

SPOILER ALERT!

It’s true that the main villain of Episode VII is a Sith Inquisitor. He’s tall and thin and terrifyingly creepy, with glowing red eyes to match his red lightsaber. He’s got some robotic upgrades, like Vader – but no mask. The cybernetic bits weave in and out of him. He’s got a human upper lip, a steel jaw… and the robotic hand that JJ Abrams posted an image of. As LR mentioned, we’ll see flashbacks in this movie which will show us Princess Leia as a young girl and Vader’s involvement with the Sith during his prime. This inquisitor has a fascination Vader through the movie’s timeline as well though – just look how he stares at Vader’s shattered helmet in this image.
As always, this is just a rumor until confirmed or denied by Lucasfilm or Disney.

  1. I think it will be cool to see Darth Vader in his prime, even if it is a flashback sequence!

  3. UM...Star Wars doesn't tell it's story with the use of flashbacks. Not once. What ever you do dont stick to the vernacular of the series. ...go out on your own.

    Thanks for blowing it Abrams.

    1. Well seeing as how his helmet was made of a combination of durasteel, plasteel and obsidian it stands to reason that natural fire wouldnt wholy destroy the helmet.

  6. So Dave, you prefer the things were done previously, let's say, by Lucas? Maybe you should suggest he add Jar Jar back in, or maybe some midi Chloriants to add a little science to the mysticism. Abrams has a good trac record, give him a chance before you start to knock it.

  8. Isn't that guy from the new animated series "Rebels" a Inquisitor?

  9. I have to agree with Dave. Flashback is a code word for Retcon.

They have a platform to introduce the Inquistors, its SW Rebels.

And ffs if they clone Vader...

  10. Could be that this character is the role that Abrams is using Andy Serkis' Motion Capture effects company. Andy could also be playing this character since we know he's good at playing the creepy, CGI baddie...
