Sam Witwer, the voice actor most recognized for portraying Vader's apprentice Starkiller in The Force Unleashed, planned on auditioning for the latest Star Wars installment before "parameters of that role changed."
Witwer stated that he "did not go in [to audition], so I can tell you I did not go in.” Although he did not audition this time around, Witwer would be a welcome addition to the Star Wars saga since he's already proven his chops by portraying "the Son" and Darth Maul in The Clone Wars. If the door closed to work on VII, perhaps Witwer will have the opportunity to appear in spin off films, Episode VIII, or Episode IX.

He wasn't the only one who wanted a role. So did Cody Simpson and Steve Urkel and that Suite Life with Zack & Cody kid and John Cusack and President Obama and Vinny Babarino and the unattractive overweight female chef from Worst Cooks in America and Carson Daily (he was immediately escorted out by security, BTW) and Johnny Weir.
