The latest issue of Star Wars Insider featured a launchpad update about the upcoming Star Wars Rebels TV series from line producer Athena Portillo. The update included the following information:
- We are halfway through completion on our Season One scripts.
- We have voice-recorded five episodes so far.
- We are currently storyboarding three episodes.
- We are currently animating two episodes.
- We are currently lighting our first episode.
- We are currently sound designing our effects and have a theme already composed for the show...
Issue #147, which can be picked up at your local store now, also gave a preview of an upcoming issue of Insider which will have an exclusive first look at Star Wars Rebels, which is expected to air on Disney XD this fall.
