The folks at Bleeding Cool have released info about Episode VII that they claim is "100% confirmed" to be accurate. It's a casting call from the UK that is as follows:
- Late-teen female, independent, good sense of humour, fit.
- Young twenty-something male, witty and smart, fit but not traditionally good looking.
- A late twentysomething male, fit, handsome and confident.
- Seventy-something male, with strong opinions and tough demeanour. Also doesn’ t need to be particularly fit.
- A second young female, also late teens, tough, smart and fit.
- Forty something male, fit, military type.
- Thirtysomething male, intellectual. Apparently doesn’t need to be fit.
Bleeding Cool also adds that they have "verified that these are lead characters" but are not going to be billed in this order. They also allude to rumors surrounding the possibility of a female lead for the upcoming film, being that two teenage Girls are mentioned here.
Now, as always, this in no way confirmation. Even though Bleed Cool seems very confident in this piece of info, this will remain classified as a rumor until Disney/Lucasfilm confirms it.
Update: Eric Geller from TheForce.Net is now reporting that they have confirmed this info with Lucasfilm, stating: I reached out to Lucasfilm. Company spokesman Miles Perkins has confirmed to me that the listing is genuine. He wrote, "Yes, it is correct."
