The official Star Wars Celebration Website announced that legendary prequel concept artists Doug Chiang and Ian McCaig will be attending this summer's Star Wars Celebration Europe II.  With this announcement comes the exciting reveal that these two Star Wars veterans are working on future Star Wars films!

Chiang has previously worked as design director for Episode I, concept design supervisor for Episode II, and creative director at ILM.  McCaig worked as one of the principle designers for the entire prequel trilogy and is responsible for some its most iconic designs including Darth Maul and Queen Amidala.

This is great news for the future of Star Wars on the big screen. To have these two, who's designs not only shaped the prequel trilogy but were the basis for many designs on The Clone Wars as well, working on the new films is truly exciting!
