Although it had already been reported that Billy Dee Williams would be interested in returning, his response of "I suppose so" isn't exactly a ringing endorsement. This week, however, Billy Dee was interview by 95.7 KJR and told the interviewer that he would "love to participate" in the sequels.
During the interview Billy Dee also spoke on why he continued to return as Lando in various projects such as Robot Chicken and Star Wars: Detours saying, “I love the idea of keeping the character alive. And I specifically want to keep him alive, as long as I’m alive.”
