It's still hard to believe sometimes, that everyday now brings ever closer to the release of Star Wars Episode VII. Kathleen Kennedy, the film's producer and the new head of Lucasfilm, spoke with ABC radio today and revealed that the film would be entering pre-production in spring 2013. Given that Michael Arndt is already in the process of writing the film's script, it is likely that some form of pre-production is likely to have already begun. It is likely that Ms. Kennedy is referring to more active pre-production such as set building and casting. She also revealed that she would likely have something to reveal early in the new year, saying "I have no immediate update, but hopefully in January I’ll have something that I can say."
