StarWars.com was updated today informing fans attending Star Wars Celebration VI that they should plan on attending the closing ceremonies on Sunday August 26 at 2:30 in the Chapin Theater. The site claims that this is a must see event for fans. What could it be? Could it be a screening of Clone Wars episodes, as Supervising director Dave Filoni has hinted in the past, or perhaps a first look at the 3D conversion of Attack of the Clones, or could it be an appearance by the maker himself, George Lucas? We'll just have to wait and see.
In addition, the Celebration VI website was updated with information for fans wishing to volunteer during CVI. The site has the following requirements for volunteers:
- Must be 21 years of age as of August 23, 2012
- Must be available to work the full length of Star Wars Celebration VI (Thursday, August 23 – Sunday, August 26, from morning until evening. Hours could vary. Some crew may be needed to work Wednesday, August 22 as well.)
- Do not apply if you plan to work as an exhibitor, artist or panelist at SWCVI
- Must be willing to wear the appropriate crew attire for each position. Crew members will not work in costumes
If you fit the qualifications and would like to advantage of this wonderful opportunity, you can find more information and fill out an application here.
