how? the originals where so much better
ReplyDeleteCan't top the OT but it's a good film, and surpasses the PT by leaps and bounds IMHO. Definitely up for multiply viewings.
ReplyDeleteIt might actually be the best one. Fully packed with every single thing a Star Wars movie deserves.
ReplyDeleteI'm watching IV and V before going back to VII to be sure.
It's 94% fresh now. 179 reviews, 169 fresh while 10 rotten. So tie with Episode 4 and Episode 5
ReplyDeleteFor you, maybe. For me, a guy who's first exposure to Star Wars was the Phantom Menace, the Prequels are superior

ReplyDeletesaw it in Australia, 12 hours ago. Another Death Star? yawn. To their credit there is more than enough to tease for Ep VIII. Saw it in 3D, would prefer 2D. Enjoy.
ReplyDelete^thanks a$$hole, you are officially the first spoiler I've seen Warren Williams.
ReplyDeleteNot really a spoiler as it is shown in a poster and in one of the most recent trailer's.
ReplyDeleteIts an enthralling movie, visually stunning and never a dull moment. Not perfect as it lends a bit too heavily from 4, 5 and 6.
ReplyDeleteBorn in 1970, love the OT, but I think the prequels are better films. Looking forward to the force Awakens......

I don't like the fact that the story is a similar story in the expanded universe. And Abrams has stated that episode VII would not feature storyline from the expanded universe.
ReplyDeleteIt was absolutely fantastic. That feeling I had when I saw the originals on VHS when I was four back in 1997...that has returned. That feeling of excitement, of joy...thank you, J. J. Abrams. Thank you so much.
