Empire Reveals New Image of Kylo Ren & Interview with Adam Driver

By: Dominic Jones

With less than a month to go until Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, the magazine features on the film are coming fast and furious.  Empire just revealed their latest exclusive, a new image of Kylo Ren and a snippet of their interview with Adam Driver from their upcoming The Force Awakens issue.

"Driver says that he sees Ren as more of a religious fanatic than a villain in the traditional sense. “When they think of their actions as morally justified,” Driver told us, “it makes them dangerous and unpredictable. There’s no level they won’t go to to accomplish what they’re after. I never thought of the character as an evil person.”"

The quote from Driver is very much in line with what we've been hearing about Kylo.  He clearly thinks he's doing the right thing, which makes him especially dangerous.  A special The Force Awakens issue of Empire will be available as of November 26th.

  2. Jesus didn't go around murdering people. Maybe you should pick up a Bible.

  3. To me, it sounds more like Saul. He went around murdering people for being Christian before Damascus.

  4. hope this leads to a compelling villian with moral complexity. because phrases said in interviews such as themes compelling or a special kind of villian can easily be just an actor on promotional duty for the film
