Our friend Kaeli Cheyenne from The Geek Breakdown was fortunate enough to spot a piece of merchandise from Star Wars: The Force Awakens at her local Walmart. Check out this awesome BB-8 t-shirt that most likely was accidentally put on shelves before Force Friday.
While shopping at Walmart today I stumbled upon an incredible accident; an Episode VII shirt. The racks were stocked with amazing products, and a large quantity of these BB8 themed beauties. When I went to ring it up, the register stated that it was not allowed to be sold, however the cashier allowed me to purchase it, regardless.
Definitely keep a look out for more The Force Awakens merch hitting the shelves early before the September 4th official street date!

I tried to buy one of these at my Wal-Mart too but the stupid manager wouldn't let it happen. Bummer!
ReplyDeleteI have had the same Problem!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe tried to one this evening - not knowing they were not for sale -- same thing -- "not to be sold / recalled" ... and cashier did not allow us to purchase it ....
ReplyDeleteThe Walmart employee literally clutched the shirt to her body and said she couldn't sell it to mE, but wouldn't say why!? That's what led me to this site because I didn't know of it was toxic to wear or what ! I wanted it so bad that I marched right over and grabbed another BB-8 shirt along with a new darth vader shirt and went to the self check out. I rang a darth Vader shirt up twice and bam! BB-8 shirt score! So I didn't steal it, I paid for the two shirts.
ReplyDeleteWTF?! I got one 30 minutes ago at Walmart no problem. They had a bb8, fett, kylo ren, and a few others.
