Amidst the first reveals for Star Wars Battlefront we learned that while the game will feature many amazing maps on several iconic planets, space battles would not be included in the game. This left many fans understandably disappointed, but now it seems EA is working to make up for that. Today the developer released a short video which showed off some brand new gameplay from Battlefront along with the words "Fighter Squadron is coming". The footage shows X-Wings, A-Wings and TIE Fighters dogfighting above the volcanic world of Sullust. We can assume this a new game mode, similar to the "Blast" deathmatch mode revealed last week. The video itself encourages us to subscribe to the EA Star Wars' YouTube channel to see the full reveal of Fighter Squadron on Wednesday, August 5th. In the meantime, check out the teaser below:

Wow that gameplay mode video for Star Wars Battlefront reminds me of the classic Rogue Squadron Videogames from back in the day only now in Next Gen. Can't wait for the full gameplay video on Wednesday!!!
