It appears we have have our first look at Princess Leia's costume in The Force Awakens thanks to the guys at Ikwiz. A few months back we were treated to a sketch of what her costume might look like courtesy of Making Star Wars. Now Ikwiz has revealed an actual photo of Carrie Fisher on the set of Episode VII wearing said costume, which they received via That Hashtag Show. If you don't want to see anything from The Force Awakens, be warned, this is your official SPOILER warning!

This costume appears to suit her, being new but also feeling familiar. Obvious connections can be made between this costume and the Rebel trooper costumes seen in A New Hope. This photo is a bit blurry, and the costume itself may be a concept and not the final version. We can't wait to see Carrie and all the rest of our favorite characters back on the big screen come December 18th!

The cuffs look similar to the ones we see in the second trailer when we see the Anakin/Luke saber.

ReplyDeleteShe looks like a senile old goat in headlights, just as expected. Her role in the films will be the low point of the movies. They may cgi her face so it moves while she talks.
