Carrie Fisher and James Earl Jones to Guest Star on 'The Big Bang Theory'

By: Dominic Jones

The CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory is known for its legendary cameos by "geek" celebrities, including Katee Sackhoff, Leonard Nimoy, George Takei, and Stan Lee.  However, Star Wars celebrities have yet to their day on The Big Bang Theory.  That's all about to change.  Executive producers Bill Prady and Steve Molaro told TVLine today, at the Golden Globes, that both Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) and James Earl Jones (voice of Darth Vader) would be appearing as themselves in an upcoming episode, and will cross paths with Sheldon (series star Jim Parsons).

Now word yet on when the episode will air.

Are you excited about Carrie Fisher and James Earl Jones appearing on The Big Theory? Let us know in the comments and/or on Facebook.

Thanks to Kenny Kraly Jr for bringing this to our attention!

  1. I have said since season 1 that Carrie and Mark Hamill needed to guest or cameo on an episode together so, yeah I'm good

  3. I would rather NO Star Wars cast member ever appear on that show. I absolutely hate that piece of shit.
